Ambunu cleanses, conditions, softens, detangles your hair whilst adding a beautiful sheen to it. It strengthens your hair against thinning and loss and controls dry scalp and dandruff.
Ambunu herbs in dried leaves(herbs) form. This can be soaked as it is or first blended or milled into powdered form prior to mixing with water.
The powder may be used to create a mask or paste. Simply mix with your favourite carrier and essential oils and apply on dampened hair. Saturate your hair with the paste and leave on for 20-30 minutes before washing off. Makes detangling feel like a breeze. 
Ambunu is an old tradition from Chad in Africa and was almost extinct until it’s recent re-discovery! The Chadian women affirms that they widely used Ambunu to cleanse, condition and detangle their hair as well as treat dandruff or dry scalp. The herbs contains saponins and deep conditioning and detangling properties that sets it well above its rivals in the world of pure and natural hair treatment ingredients. It is indeed a multi-tasker that does it all for your hair in one go.
The benefits of it compared to other herbal shampoo like Shikakai is that it is actually very slippery and can be used as a natural conditioner. This plant contains saponin which gives it its ability to cleanse and it is an effective antioxidant, has anti-inflammatory properties and also acts as an emollient.
Usage Recommendations:
Take a couple of tablespoons of Ambunu powder and mix it with around a litre of water, allow to soak for ten minutes until it becomes gooey, then massage it onto your hair gently until hair shafts and roots are fully saturated with the mixture. Proceed to detangle with fingers or wide-tooth comb and either rinse it off thoroughly with water or leave it on for deeper or intense treatment. This is only a guideline and please feel free to experiment with the Ambunu/water mixing ratio and tailor it to what is suitable for your hair volume, lengths or type.
TIP- A bottle with an applicator may be used to apply the shampoo mixture if that’s easier for you.
