What Is Retinyl Palmitate?
There are four different forms of retinoids that are used in skincare all of which are vitamin A derivatives. Retinoic acid (also known as tretinoin) is the most potent retinoid and only available with a prescription. On the other side of the spectrum is retinyl palmitate, the mildest form of retinoid, which is available in some over-the-counter products.
Retinyl Palmitate also known as Vitamin A Palmitate, is the mildest form of retinoid and an option for those with extremely sensitive skin who desire to experience the amazing benefits of retinol but without the irritation. Despite its mildness, Retinyl Palmitate has been shown to still deliver the same results as the harsh retinol would and in a gentler, more sustainable and safer way.
On absorption into the skin, Retinyl Palmitate is converted into Retinoic Acid through a process catalysed by an enzyme in the body.

Topical application of skincare products containing HA can replenish moisture and improve skin elasticity. 
The HA in this product is formulated with both high and low molecular weights for optimal penetration and effectiveness, working in synergy to promote youthful-looking skin.

Usage Recommendations:
Apply to cleansed and pat-dried face using fingertips to pat and spread evenly. Allow skin to absorb formula before layering sunscreen on. Can be used at night as well as daytime but Never use together with Vitamin C nor any other AHA and BHA-containing products. Suitable for daily use and wear suncream at daytimes as Retinyl Palmitate increases sensitivity to sun. It is common to experience some mild tingling sensation with retinol application, but this usually clears away shortly. Facial oil may be layered on after 15-30 minutes of application of the cream if desired. Discontinue use if irritation persists or occurs. If new to retinol usage, start gradually by using once or twice a week until your skin builds up tolerance. Not suitable for those with very sensitive skin and those with inflammation-prone skin.
