The Chadian women affirms that they widely used Ambunu to cleanse, condition and detangle their hair as well as treat dandruff or dry scalp. The herbs contains saponins and deep conditioning and detangling properties that sets it well above its rivals in the world of pure and natural hair treatment ingredients. It is indeed a multi-tasker that does it all for your hair in one go.
The benefits of it compared to other herbal shampoo like Shikakai is that it is actually very slippery and can be used as a natural conditioner. This plant contains saponin which gives it its ability to cleanse and it is an effective antioxidant, has anti-inflammatory properties and also acts as an emollient.
Usage Recommendations:
Use as rinse off or leave-in conditioning, detangling and repair mask and apply as regularly as desired. Can be used on protective hairstyles including twist outs, box braids, locks, plats, weaves or corn-rows. Avoid contact with eyes and was off thoroughly and immediately with plenty of water if in contact with eyes. Please check your allergy status and always perform a patch test prior to application. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
